What you should do is decide to make a little project, like for me im doing a space battle type thing (though this is for school) but I still had to come up with it, how I decided was based on what I was watching for the past while, which of course allot of it is sci-fi, and also I was listening to some game music actually and could see images going through my head, music works the best for this, but it has to be a good mood setting type music you know, that helps allot. Watchin CG movies or just something with CG can help. As well as of course seeing other peoples work can inspire you sometimes. Hopfully you come up with something.
